What to expect and what not to expect with this Skagway shore excursion

It's more than just the ziplining that makes this one of the best Skagway tours; this experience provides the whole package! Starting with a pickup at your cruise ship, your guide shuttles you about 11 miles down the road to historic Dyea which was a bustling port town back in the Gold Rush days. A surprisingly thorough history lesson provides a great start to the day and quickly you'll arrive at base camp, the launching off point for this Skagway shore excursion. But what goes down must first go up, so hop into a fully customized Unimog, a monster machine that shuttles participants up the rugged mountain road to start of the ziplining experience. Even this ride warrants smiles all-around, as it climbs up paralleling beautiful glacier streams and fresh Alaskan air.

  • Dock-to-dock transportation
  • 4 hours duration
  • Scenic drive to historic Dyea
  • 11 ziplines and 4 suspension bridges
  • Family-friendly: Ages 6 and up
  • One of the best-reviewed Skagway Alaska tours

This is about where the adrenaline kicks in. Professional guides prepare you with the necessary equipment and information, and then you're off to explore this land from the treetops! Get a running start and then let go and glide over pristine Alaskan wilderness below. Soar from station to station and watch your friends and family do the same. After some amazing photographs together, hop in the Unimog for the ride back down and share your mutual "That was amazing!" experiences with one another.

Great Excusion

Been on several zip lining adventures and yours was equally fun and exciting. Being able to see the Alaskan wildness from above was wonderful. Thanks for the opportunity for such an adventure.

This was the best zip-lining we've ever done. Felt extremely safe, even though our guides encouraged us to do flips and tricks. This is a double line, so it's very safe. The experience was plenty long...I was ready to be done when it was over!

You just gotta do this!

Beautiful Place

A great bunch of ladies and gentlemen, our guides were Taylor and Tyler and we had so much fun with them, we couldn't have asked for better guides. The weather was a little warmer than we expected but the scenery was beautiful.
