The National Park Service runs this wonderful free little museum and Visitor Information Center. It showcases exhibits of life during the gold rush, including displays about historical archaeology in Skagway and photographic technology during the late 19th century.
They offer free ranger guided walking tours of the historic district of Skagway, and show a free film about the historical legacy of the gold rush and Skagway. This 30 minute film is called "Gold Fever: Race to the Klondike," and is shown on the hour. The free walking tours is offered daily at 9, 10, 11, 2 and 3, and lasts one hour.
