Corrington's museum is free of charge and contains a great private collection of artifacts of Alaska's fascinating history, form pre-historic to modern. There are more than 40 engraved walrus tusks and the world's largest baleen basket.
The museum is nestled in the middle of Corrigton's Alaskan Ivory, so you are conveniently entering and exiting through the gift shop. The shop is filled with beautiful work form many Alaskan Native artist, including eskimo art and artifacts. The Corringtons have been in business here for 38 years.
