It's fun for all as gold is guaranteed in every pan.   • Accessibility: The activity level of this tour is rated as easy/moderate. Guests must be able to walk up and down a few steps to board the bus. There are opportunities to walk around at designated areas.
  • Cancellation Policy: In the event your cruise ship is late, delayed, or doesn't make it into port we always issue a full refund for the tour. Changes or cancellations are allowed up to 14 days prior to the tour departure with absolutely no penalty. Any cancellations made within 14 days of the tour departure are nonrefundable.
  • What to Wear: It is a good idea to dress in layers, and include a rain or waterproof jacket. Also, for your comfort, sturdy walking shoes are recommended. Don’t forget your camera and sunglasses!

Q:I see that transportation is not included, so how do I get there?
Dredge Town is just a short ride away from the cruise docks and there are shuttles that depart from the docks every 30 minutes. The cost of these shuttles is $5 for an all-day ticket. Upon booking, your confirmation email and voucher will contain detailed information about the Skagway SMART shuttles and how to get to Dredge Town.
Q:Are there photo opportunities?
Yes! There are tons of great photo opportunities at Dredge Town, including mining artifacts and the surrounding scenery. Additionally, costumes are available for you to borrow for an extra special photo!
Q:Is food available for purchase?
Yes! The Snack Shack has home-baked cookies, drinks, and treats. Additionally, there is a dining room with an Alaskan BBQ that includes a variety of smoked barbecue meats, chicken, macaroni and cheese, salads, and assorted side dishes.
